In our Sunday morning Journey Kids (JKids) program, children learn about God's love for them and God's teachings for their lives. Classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners are offered at both services. A class is offered for children in grades 1-5 on Sunday mornings at the 10:00 a.m. service.  All elementary students are invited to worship with their families in the 11:15 a.m. service. Worship bags with activity pages are available for children in worship if desired.

Children and their adult guardians are given matching JourneyKids tags to assure proper identification. All teachers and caregivers must pass a background check.

Does it cost anything?

There is no cost for JourneyKids. We're excited your children are with us.

What if I need to be contacted during the service?

In the event that you need to be reached during the service regarding your child, the security number on your JourneyKids tag will appear on the screen in worship.

What will my child learn?

Children are creatively taught the basic truths of Scripture. This means the Bible story and lessons are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, as well as engaging and fun. Children learn Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend, as well as how to live a life devoted to Jesus.

First Look:  Infants through Kindergarteners

From birth-kindergarten, when children are taking their "First Look" at God, we focus on one "bottom line" for the entire month to help them better understand one of their three "Basic Truths."

Our three basic truths are:

God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my forever friend.

252 Basics:  Elementary Students

In grades 1-5, children are growing spiritually, intellectually, and socially following Jesus' example in Luke 2:52 - the scripture on which the "252 Basics" program is modeled! Elementary kids have a weekly "bottom line" to help them better understand one of their basic virtues.
