Journey Groups are intentional environments that help people pursue a life-changing relationship with God and authentic community with others. There is a group for everyone at Journey! Groups meet at varying times throughout the week all over the region. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you've never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Journey's GriefShare group meets on Wednesdays, 2:00-3:30 p.m., at the Wild Goose Fellowship.

DivorceCare is a weekly ministry group for those who are looking to find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. In a DivorceCare group, you will find friendly, caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. We highly encourage people to avoid going through separation or divorce alone. Our DivorceCare group meets meet weekly on Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 p. m. at Bonsack Baptist Church. Childcare is provided.

In the Unleash Leadership initiative, Journey Church partners with the Roanoke Rescue Mission in equipping people to become the leaders God created them to be. On the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., church, business, educational and community leaders gather at the Roanoke Rescue Mission to experience transformational learning and peer support. All who wish to develop their leadership abilities are invited.

Celebrate Recovery is a program for anyone who is seeking help with life-challenges like substance abuse, hurts, co-dependency, sexual purity, food issues, and anger. The mission of Celebrate Recovery is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through a Christ-centered 12 Step program. Celebrate Recovery meets every Friday night, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at Orchard Hills Church. A meal will be provided each week at no cost to program participants. Advance registration is not required, and you may join at any time.
Childcare is provided at each meeting with at least 48 hour notice.
