  • An Easter Journey

    During this season Christians around the world are encouraged to take more seriously their spiritual journey.  James Hassell has developed a special Easter Journey Guide to help you with this (you may click here to download.)  The guide has options to choose from about prayer, Bible reading, and it even includes something called a "digital detox”!  Choose an option or build your own and enjoy the journey to Easter!

  • Special Services

    Journey has been invited on April 18 at 6:30 p.m. to a Maundy Thursday worship service at Orchard Hills Church.  Journey will be holding an Easter sunrise service on Sunday, April 21, starting 6:30 a.m. at our Wild Goose campus.

  • New Sunday Morning Group!

    A new Sunday morning Journey Group will begin, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Northside High School.  The group will be hosted by Michael DuVal and James Hassell.  Everyone is welcome, but the timing of the group is especially great for parents of children and youth so that they may attend worship together at 11:15!  Initially, the group will study the Gospel of Mark.  To learn more, please text 540.632.1535, or email office@journeyconnection.com.

  • Journey 101

    Believing & Belonging

    Are you interested in learning more about Journey Church?  Check out Journey 101 on March 23 or 24!  You’ll learn about Journey’s vision and values, what it means to be a follower of Christ, why we’re the kind of church we are, and more!  At the end of the class you’ll have the opportunity to become a member of Journey Church, if you'd like.  Click here to learn more.

  • Unleash Leadership

    Unleash Leadership equips people to develop their leadership abilities for the purpose of transforming families, the community, and the workplace.  The next meeting of Unleash will be 7:00-8:00 p.m. on March 27.

  • Training opportunity

    Would you like to learn how to use Journey’s Outreach Trailer that’s used at special events to show the love of Jesus to our community?  A hands-on training experience will be held on Saturday March 30, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Journey office complex.  Lunch will be provided.  For more info call our office at 540.966.5683.

  • Journey 201

    Growing In Spiritual Maturity

    Want to learn how to make Bible study come alive, how to pray in more meaningful ways, how to connect in genuine relationships with other believers and experience authentic community, and more?  Journey 201 is for you!  It’s going to be held at our Wild Goose Campus, 1:00-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, and includes lunch.  Registration is required.

  • Men's breakfast

    Men of all ages are invited to the Men’s Ministry Monthly Breakfast Meeting 6:45-7:45 a.m. on Friday, April 5, at ProSource of Roanoke.  Come for all or part of the time.  Biscuits and gravy and coffee will be provided, or you may bring your own breakfast.  Start your day with friends, laughter, food and encouragement!  Sign up by texting 540.632.1535.

  • Journey 301

    Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts

    Would you like to discover your spiritual gifts?  Understand your personal style?  Apply your God-given passion for serving in the body of Christ?  Then you’ll want to attend the Journey 301 class!  The class will meet for two sessions, April 5 & 6.  Click here for more info.

  • Baptism Celebration & Fellowship

    Journey is planning a baptism and communion service on Sunday, April 7, at 6:00 p.m. at Orchard Hills Church.  Baptism is a way that people show that they’ve truly committed their lives to Jesus.  Click here if you are interested in being baptized.  After the service there will be a dessert fellowship at our new Wild Goose campus.  You bring the goodies, drinks will be provided.

Elijah's Backpack

Journey Church has an opportunity to serve children in four elementary schools by partnering with Elijah’s Backpack, a ministry that every weekend sends food home from school with needy children who might otherwise go hungry.  Every Sunday you are invited to bring food to Northside High School and place it in bins in the atrium. Click here for a list of needed items.
