  • Sunday morning series

    Mind Reset

    Struggle with being overly negative?  Have a hard time with decision-making?  Have trouble putting the past behind or dealing with destructive habits?  Caught up in anxiety and worry?  You won’t want to miss our current series called “Mind Reset” that began on October 20!  Each week you're invited to submit any questions you may have in our drop box or text them to 540-632-1535.  The final Sunday, November 24, there will be a panel discussion with counselors who will attempt to answer your questions.

  • Annual Members Meeting

    Journey’s annual members meeting will be held on Sunday, November 17.  Following the 11:15 service that day, lunch will be provided in the high school cafeteria, and after that the members meeting will be held in the high school auditorium.  Click here to register for lunch or childcare. Childcare will be provided in the cafeteria by request during the meeting.

  • Fall Appalachian Mission Trips/Retreats

    There’s an opportunity to engage in mission and go on retreat at the Bland Ministry Center in Bland, VA.  October 25-27 for male adults and youth.  November 1-3 for female adults and youth.  There’s a limited number of people who may participate.  If you’re interested, text 540-632-1535 or send us an email.  You’ll be contacted.

  • Surviving the Holidays

    The holiday season can be especially painful following the death of a loved one or after a divorce.  Journey Church wants to offer support to those for whom the holidays are a difficult time by offering several “Surviving the Holidays” seminars.  Click here to learn more.

  • Baptism

    Journey is planning a baptism service on Sunday, November 10, at 6:00 p.m. at Orchard Hills Church.  Baptism is a way that people show that they’ve truly committed their lives to Jesus.  Click here if you'd like to be baptized or would like to be contacted about baptism.

  • Tailgate Party

    Drop your tailgate and open your hatch, it’s time for a Tailgate Party!  Bring parking lot chairs and games, food and friends to the party, drinks will be provided.  Gather together in the parking lot of Northside High School following the 10:00 service on Sunday, November 24 (there will not be an 11:15 service that day).  This event is for all ages and is family friendly!  Our Journey Groups are hosting this event, so if you haven't connected with a group yet, it’s an ideal time to get to know the various groups Journey has to offer!

  • Save the date!

    Don’t miss it!  Journey’s church-wide Christmas Party is on Friday, December 13.  Be watching for more details.

Elijah's Backpack

Journey Church has an opportunity to serve children in four elementary schools by partnering with Elijah’s Backpack, a ministry that every weekend sends food home from school with needy children who might otherwise go hungry.  Every Sunday you are invited to bring food to Northside High School and place it in bins in the atrium. Click here for a list of needed items.
