Journey offers online giving either through an e-check (from checking or savings) or through credit or debit cards. You may give by clicking on the Make A Donation button below. You may make single or recurring gifts, manage your online account, or review your giving history. In order to provide the highest level of security, we partner with Vanco Services.
This is an easy and effective way to systematically give through your checking or savings account. Simply log onto your individual bank account and follow your bank's instructions to set up Journey Church as a new payee. Automate the important!
Write a check payable to Journey Church and mail it to 3574 Read Mountain Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
It’s simple and easy to give to Journey through text. On your mobile phone, type in 540-351-9637. Then, type $ and the amount you’d like to give. You’ll receive a text response with instructions to complete the donation, or you can set up a repeating donation by credit or debit card. You will then receive immediate confirmation that your donation was received.

Why does God want us to embrace the grace of giving? It's because God chooses to change the world by the power of God’s love through people like us. The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14). As we faithfully give, we cooperate with God in blessing the lives of people around the world. There are two fundamental questions behind the act of giving. Do we love God, and do we trust God? If we answer “Yes” to these questions, we’ll give generously and joyfully!
Through our giving to Journey Church we:
- feed the hungry and provide for the poor
- support children's and youth ministries
- start new churches and equip leaders
- build stronger families, care for the elderly, and share the good news of Jesus locally and around the world

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about Giving Online
Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes. You have the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up repeating contributions that you schedule.
Can I change my personal information or the amount or the frequency of a repeating gift once I've set it up?
Yes. You can change or cancel your repeating contribution at anytime before the date of your next contribution.
Does Journey’s money back guarantee apply to online giving?
Yes. We believe so much in the faithfulness of God that if you contribute financially to our church and then find you need the money, just ask for it back in the calendar year in which you gave it, and we’ll return it with no questions asked.
Will I receive contribution statements from the church?
Yes. Journey will mail contribution statements for tax purposes to the address we have on file for you. All donations to Journey Church are 100% tax-deductible.
How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
Immediately after contributing, you will receive an email.
