You have the opportunity to demonstrate your love and devotion to the Christ child through Journey’s Giving to Christ at Christmas offering.  In a spirit of thanksgiving and with a heart full of joy, this is your chance to go above and beyond your normal giving to give your first and best gift to Christ Himself at Christmas.

Here are ways you may participate:

• Give online:  Click here.
• Give by text:  text "$" and the amount you'd like to give and send to 540.351.9637.
• Give by check:  made payable to “Journey Church” and designating “Christ at Christmas” on the memo line, mail to Journey Church, 3574 Read Mountain Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.

How Giving to Christ at Christmas gifts will be used:

• 80% to repair/improve our new Journey Central campus (formerly Wild Goose)
• 10% to sponsor the launch of a new congregation of Mavuno Church in Zambezi, Kenya
• 10% to feed the hungry in our community

You may be bombarded with requests to give to many causes during the holidays.  Many might be worthy, but may not represent giving to Christ—and that’s what Christmas is all about.

Remember, this giving is to be in addition to—above and beyond—your regular level of giving to Journey.  The Giving to Christ at Christmas effort is meant to be a special, one-time gift in response to God’s gift of His one and only Son to us.  The ongoing ministry needs of Journey require our continuing support and regular faithfulness.

Let’s make this end of year a season of giving and sharing, showing the world the love that flows from Christ through our congregation.
