All are invited to select a child in need from Mountain View and Cloverdale Elementary Schools to sponsor this Christmas season. We will have information for the children in need, including clothing sizes and gift ideas on red tags on Christmas trees in the lobby of Northside High School. Donated gifts will be collected through December 14.

Journey’s annual Christmas party is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at our Journey Central campus. This celebration will feature a shared meal, music, fun and games! We will also honor all our volunteers who served during 2025. Doors open at 5:00pm and dinner will begin at 5:30pm.

Please bring food to this “potluck” style meal to be shared with others. In addition, if the first letter of your last name begins with A–L, please bring a dessert to share. If the first letter of your last name begins with M-Z, please bring a 2-liter soda or gallon of water. Paper products and ice will be provided.

Please register in advance so we may save you a seat!

Make a difference in our community and connect with others from Journey by serving at the Rescue Mission kitchen on Saturday, December 13, at 8:30a.m. Volunteers will meet in the lobby of the Roanoke Rescue Mission and work together to prepare bagged lunches for those in need until 11:00a.m. Join us in making a positive impact!

The holidays can be especially hard when someone you love is no longer with you. Journey will be having a Service of Remembrance to honor loved ones who have passed, share memories, sing together, and find comfort in God’s presence and with one another.

This special time is designed to hold space for both sorrow and hope—reminding us that even in our grief, we are not alone. All are welcome. The service will be held, December 16, at 7:00pm in the chapel of Journey Central. A time to share refreshments and support one another will be held immediately afterward.

We are excited to once again host Last Illusion, the Southeast's premiere tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, for a FREE community Christmas concert. This event will be held at Northside High School on Sunday, December 21, at 10:30a.m. All are welcome! Invite

Celebrate the joy, the wonder, the miracle of the Christmas holiday with Journey Church at our annual Christmas Eve service. This family style service will be held in the auditorium of Northside High School and will begin at 5:00pm. We hope to see you there!
