Journey is once again providing Christmas gifts for children in

need from our community. Each sponsored child will receive a shirt, pair of pants, a toy, and a book. Red tags representing each child in need of sponsoring are hung on Christmas trees in the lobby of Northside High School. Pick one up next Sunday! All donated gifts are due by Sunday, December 15.

Journey’s annual Christmas party will be Saturday, December 14, at our Journey Central campus. This celebration will feature a shared meal, music, fun and games! We will also honor all our volunteers who served during 2024.

Please bring food to this “potluck” style meal to be shared with others. In addition, if the first letter of your last name begins with A–L, please bring a dessert to share. If the first letter of your last name begins with M-Z, please bring a 2-liter soda or gallon of water. Paper products and ice will be provided.

New this year: Since we are celebrating at our Journey Central campus, we highly encourage registering so we may adequately prepare our space for the party.

Make a difference in our community and connect with others from Journey by serving at the Rescue Mission kitchen on Saturday, December 21. Volunteers will meet in the lobby of the Roanoke Rescue Mission and work together to prepare bagged lunches for those in need.
